Green Practices

At Bayard, we share a concern for the environment and want to do our part to make a difference. We embrace the concept of reducing, reusing, and recycling. In order to reduce our carbon footprint, we have taken on green business practices to help contribute to a greener and more eco-friendly business standard ingrained in everything we do, including:

• Cutting energy costs with energy-saving compact fluorescent light bulbs
• Saving fuel by travelling less
• Recycling programs in offices
• Encouraging employees to use public transportation or carpool
• Saving documents on computers instead of printing
• Turning off computers, monitors and printers at the end of the day
• Reusing paper by printing on both sides
• Returning toner cartridges for reuse
• Purchasing supplies in bulk to save on packaging
